Job Description

A Local Authority based in East London is looking for a temporary Payroll Officer to join the team on an initial 3-month basis. The post holder will work within the Payroll Team responsible for work across two Authorities in London, they will be allocated a portfolio of employees to manage their pay.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of managing a client portfolio, preferably schools and/or Local Authority
  • Working knowledge of PAYE, NI, Statutory Payments (Sickness, Maternity, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Fusion Payroll System preferred
  • Able to calculate and employee's remuneration to advise pension fund (LGPS)
