Department: Digital and Data Directorate (DaDD)
Location: Lincolnshire Police Headquarters, Lincoln
Pay Rate (Umbrella): £21.56 per hour poa

The Digital and Data Directorate (DaDD) at Lincolnshire Police is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Planning and Portfolio Analyst to join our team. DaDD comprises multiple departments responsible for the research, development, implementation, maintenance, and decommissioning of digital, data, and technology (DDaT) products and services that play a critical role in maintaining law and order within Lincolnshire.

Responsibilities:
As the Planning and Portfolio Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the following areas:


  • Portfolio Management: Illustrate how the Lincolnshire Police portfolio of digital products and change, as well as directorate services, are aligned with the organisational strategy and change processes. This includes coordinating and organising events, collating responses to requests for help, and managing the accumulation and reporting of all DDaT product data and information.

  • Decision Support: Support models for sound and appropriate decision-making within the directorate, providing a point of knowledge and expertise for product owners and managers to navigate decision-making processes effectively.

  • Assurance Activity: Assist in establishing and maintaining the document management system, supporting assurance activity, and ensuring continuous business justification for the products and services within the portfolio.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Accurately capture requirements, assumptions, and constraints identified by product and service managers to inform decisions. You will also liaise with business partner analysts and potential suppliers to maintain effective communication channels.

  • Change Management: Support colleagues responsible for Business as Usual (BAU) products and services in achieving consistent reporting and documentation to facilitate change management within the organisation.

  • Performance Tracking: Utilise your professional expertise to track capability performance, support product managers and owners in risk and issue management, and effectively communicate decisions to stakeholders.

  • Professional Values: Demonstrate the force values at all times and adhere to the principles of the Code of Ethics in all aspects of your work.
