We are currently recruiting an experienced Practice Nurse to support a number of GP surgeries across Birmingham on an ad-hoc basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled nurse with GP surgery experience to work flexible sessions while earning competitive rates.
Location: Birmingham
Rate: £25 per hour (LTD)
Type: Ad-Hoc Sessions (Flexible Scheduling)
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage chronic disease clinics (e.g. asthma, diabetes, hypertension)
- Perform cervical cytology, immunisations, wound care, and vaccinations
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in line with local and national guidelines
- Work autonomously and as part of the wider practice team
- NMC registered nurse
- Previous experience working in GP surgeries (essential)
- Up-to-date clinical competencies (e.g. cytology, immunisations)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
