This role pays a competitive rate of:
Umbrella Rate: £50-£60ph DOE
PAYE (Inc.Hol): £44.48 - £53.27ph DOE
This role is on a contract basis for 3 months but has potential to extend.
Responsibilities as a Planning and Highway Solicitor:
- To provide expert legal advice, assistance and support to the Council in the areas of specialism of the post at a complex/high profile level.
- Able to handle high caseload in Planning and Highway from start to completion.
- Act as Deputy Monitoring Officer in the absence of the Head of Legal Services
About you as a Planning and Highway Solicitor:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Powerful understanding of planning laws, zoning regulations, land use policies, and highway regulations.
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with at least 7+ years PQE in Planning law.
