Job Description

A local authority based in Southampton are looking for a Project Manager to join their team. This is an ongoing temporary contract.

The main purpose of the role is to deliver capital projects within the budget allocated and to the quality agreed.

Lead the Project Delivery Team to ensure that all capital projects at all stages in their development are managed to a consistently high standard, delivering to budget, quality and timeframe parameters and securing best value for the council.

To ensure that there is effective and appropriate communication with all key stakeholders including councillors, clients, tenants, residents, contractors, consultants, community organisations and key partners.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;

Relevant professional qualification, and experience in delivering capital projects.
