A Public Sector client based in Newham is currently recruiting for a Public Liaison Officer to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a full time, temporary position and the ideal candidate will knowledge and ability to proficiently use standard office computer software including databases, spreadsheets and general office applications.
The purpose of the role is to Contribute as member of a flexible, multi-skilled team, to a range of customer-focused services for the Authority, including:
- Correspondence management service;
- A central enquiry and information service;
- Promotion and representation of the organisation both in City Hall and at public events;
- Operate the first line of contact for the public and deliver presentations to visiting groups
Requirements:
- Evidence of providing high quality customer-focused services
- Evidence of proficiency in drafting routine and/or complex written responses
- Evidence of effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to handle routine and complex public enquiries and complaints by phone
- Knowledge and ability to proficiently use standard office computer software including databases, spreadsheets and general office applications
- Evidence of delivering presentations in order to engage with and brief a wide range of target groups
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering between £20 - £21 p/hour Umbrella Ltd (approx. £510 - £530 p/week NET after deductions) dependant on experience and qualifications.
