Service Care solutions can off er a unique Return to Social Work offering called Reignite Social Work which is exclusive to our agency! This programme is running from October in collaboration with Vale of Glamorgan Council. We are looking to engage with anyone looking to return to a children's social worker position - if you live locally South Wales this would be ideal, but please don't be put off if you live further away; if you're open to relocating or commuting you can also be considered.

This bespoke route back into practising social work is a partnership between Service Care Solutions, Vale of Glamorgan Council and one of the best rated Social Work Universities in the country. If successful you will be offered a permanent contract with the local authority, formal distance learning (done with peers who are also going through the Reignite programme) and ongoing support on your journey with Vale of Glamorgan Council. It's guaranteed supervised practice with a manageable caseload, underpinned by 210 hours of long-arm direction & supervision from one of the top Social Work lecturers in the country; all coordinated and managed for you.

You will need;

1. Degree in Social Work
2. Previous experience working as a children's social worker in any service (length of time since last role doesn't matter!)
3. The ability to work in the Vale of Glamorgan consistently on a permanent contract
4. Social Care Wales/Social Work England Registration is NOT required to be successful
