Job Description

A Local Authority in Berkshire is looking for a Risk & Internal Audit Officer to join the team on an initial 3-Month contract to participate and undertake basic audit admin tasks to assist in the delivery of audits from the internal audit plan. The post holder will assist more senior members of the team with special projects and investigations, circulate draft internal audit reports, maintain a database of internal audit recommendations, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure overdue actions are completed.

Ideal Candidate

  • Finance Qualification/Professional Membership - Audit related preferred.
  • Proven experience in Internal Auditing/Risk Audits
  • Experience within Local Authority Auditing
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload to strict deadlines
