We are currently recruiting for a Senior Family Support Worker to join Birmingham Children’s Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting children, young people, and their families through evidence-based interventions and holistic, strengths-based assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored support to children, young people, and their families using evidence-based approaches.
- Complete assessments to identify needs and inform personalised support plans.
- Collaborate closely with statutory and non-statutory partners to coordinate services effectively.
- Chair and participate in planning meetings, ensuring that all actions are child-focused and outcome-driven.
- Escalate safeguarding concerns and adhere to Right Help Right Time protocols.
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Proven experience working directly with families and delivering interventions that bring positive change.
- Ability to analyse information and develop support plans based on assessed needs.
- Confidence in managing a diverse caseload and working both independently and collaboratively.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
