Service Care Solutions is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of the Ministry of Defence for the following contract opportunity:

Role: Quantity Surveyor

Headcount: 3

Contracting Authority: MOD

Contract Length: Until 30/3/2024

Location: Lichfield - Once per week onsite on average

IR35: In scope

Pay Rate to Candidate: £904 UMB DoE

Minimum Requirement:

• Must be a qualified QS or Cost Manager
• Solid experience post-qualification
• Experience in facilities management/maintenance works desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and manipulate cost data, uploading it to bespoke CPAC systems to support the growth in the number of capital works and HFM data sets held in the CPAC central data library.
• Prioritize data sources and facility types as directed.
• Upload suitable capital works cost data to the CPAC data library in standard NRM1 cost plan format using the DIO bespoke cost upload tool.
• Capture alternative data sets discovered through the main work effort; categorize and store them with recommendations/options on how they could provide cost insight to the business.
