Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people, using your life skills and experience to help them thrive.
- Provide guidance and support to residential workers, leading shifts and ensuring the highest standards of care and supervision.
- Oversee placement plans, ensure policies and procedures are followed, manage rotas, and support children's education.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people while ensuring their safety and welfare at all times.
What You Need:
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (mandatory).
- At least 2 years of experience in residential childcare, working alongside young people.
- Leadership skills and a passion for supporting both staff and children.
- A valid driving licence and age 22 or older (as required by children's home regulations).
- Commitment to undergo a robust recruitment process, including enhanced DBS checks and adherence to a strict code of conduct.
