Location: Slough Borough Council

Contract length: Initially 3 months

Hourly rate: £25.25 per hour

Job Description

This company is seeking experienced Sessional / Hourly Paid Functional Skills Maths Tutors, Functional Skills English tutor and ESOL tutors to teach and assess adult learners. Candidates should ideally be able to deliver classes in various venues across both Slough and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and assess adult learners in Functional Skills Maths
• Teach and assess adult learners in Functional Skills English and ESOL (desirable)
• Deliver classes in various venues across both Slough and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead
• Work on own initiative as well as part of a small team

Requirements

• Minimum L3 teaching qualification
• Experience in teaching and assessing adult learners in Functional Skills Maths or experience in teaching and assessing adult learners in Functional Skills English and ESOL
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a small team
• Availability between 2 to 15 hours per week, daytime and/or evening, depending on the subject
