Job Description

A client within the Private Sector based in Greater Manchester is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, permanent position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a healthcare or education construction industry.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to oversee healthcare and education construction projects across North West England.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage and oversee all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, defect-free and within budget.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety procedures, adhering to company and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and drawings.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and resolve any issues promptly.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require to have a minimum of 10 years of site management experience with a regional contractor, specifically on projects ranging in value from £250k to £5m.

The below skills would be essential for the role:

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
  • PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association) certificate.
  • Temporary Works qualification or certification.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Asbestos Awareness certification.

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £35,000 - £52,000 per annum.
