🔹 Job Opportunity: Social Worker – Children’s Services (Contract)
Location: Flexible / Remote Options Available
Contract: 13 months
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Children's Services team on a 13-month contract. This role is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • 📝 Conduct Single Assessments
    Identify needs and risks, develop effective care plans, and ensure timely interventions.
  • 🤝 Support Children and Families
    Offer guidance and interventions, including for families involved in Care Proceedings.
  • 👥 Collaborate with Multi-Agency Partners
    Work alongside professionals from education, health, and other sectors for holistic support.
  • 📂 Manage Duty Tasks
    Participate in duty rota, attend court hearings, and prepare high-quality reports.
  • 🌟 Build Positive Relationships
    Foster trust and effective communication with children, families, and professional networks.

Requirements
  • Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
  • Experience in children’s social care and assessment work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Sound understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding principles
