We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Initial Safeguarding Assessment Team in children services, covering the Bromsgrove and Wyre Forest area. This is a full-time, contract position offering a great opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children and families.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial safeguarding assessments to identify risk and provide support to families
- Work with children, young people, and their families to assess and address safeguarding concerns
- Develop and implement individualized plans to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including health, education, and law enforcement, to ensure a comprehensive response to safeguarding concerns
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues and other professionals to enhance safeguarding practice
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, plans, and interventions
