Sous Chef

Job Description

Service care solution are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef in the Hitchin area, the position is a full time 40 hours per week role.

  • Experience of working as a Sous Chef within a luxury environment
  • Knowledge of catering for the elderly and the important of nutrition and fortified diets where appropriate.
  • City and Guilds Diplomas in Professional Cookery or BTEC HND in professional Cookery or equivalent
  • Stocktaking, product ordering and accountability
  • COSHH 'Control of Substances Hazardous to Health' trained and HASSAP aware
  • Working knowledge of H&S legislation
  • Demonstrate good communications skills at all levels
