Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective medical assessment and treatment for patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Prioritise clinical need and apply sound diagnostic skills and clinical judgement in managing patients.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high standards of emergency care.
- Participate in departmental audits, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide leadership and support to junior colleagues and contribute to teaching activities.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
Essential Qualifications:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise in the UK.
- Previous experience as a Foundation or Trust Grade doctor in Emergency Medicine.
- Demonstrated ability to apply clinical knowledge and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Evidence of excellent diagnostic skills and clinical judgement.
- Sound knowledge of evidence-based medical practice.
- Proficiency in a broad range of Information Technology systems relevant to clinical care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to provide leadership within a team environment.
- Strong self-motivation and commitment to continuous professional development.
