We are recruiting for a committed and experienced Speciality Grade Doctor to join the Redbridge Community Paediatric Team on a long-term NHS contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established multidisciplinary team supporting the health and developmental needs of children and young people in the community.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, consultant-led care, supporting safeguarding, developmental assessments, neuro-disability clinics, and contributing to EHCP processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake community paediatric assessments including developmental delay, autism, ADHD, and neuro-disability.
- Support child protection medicals, Looked After Children assessments, and safeguarding work.
- Work collaboratively with local authorities, educational settings, and allied health professionals.
- Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and multidisciplinary planning meetings.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with local and national clinical governance standards.
- GMC registration with license to practise.
- Previous experience in Community Paediatrics at Specialty Doctor or equivalent level.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, EHCPs, and neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Excellent communication and team-working skills.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- £80 per hour LTD (inclusive rate via Direct Engagement model)
- Long-term contract with potential for extension
