Street Lighting Engineer Manager

Our Client in the Public Sector based in South Yorkshire is currently looking for a Street Lighting Engineer Manager to join their team as soon as possible.

This is a full time, Hybrid working, contract role based in Doncaster who require the ideal candidate to have extensive experience and knowledge of managing street lighting design project.

The purpose of the role is to manage street lighting design team. Must have a wide range of knowledge on all aspects of street lighting design and be able to manage budgets.

Experience in working in local government will be an advantage and there will be expectation to help train and develop junior members of staff.

  1. Manage a team which delivers all street lighting schemes within the borough. Ensuring
  2. Check that all lighting schemes designed by the Street Lighting Design Team comply with the relevant standards and specifications.
  3. Undertake all elements relating to the design, procurement and supervision of street lighting schemes - this includes feasibility, detailed design, contract documents, procurement assessing tenders, supervision of works and agreement of final measures and valuations

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £40 - £45 per hour Umbrella LTD to join their team.
