About the Role
We are currently seeking motivated and dedicated Support Workers to join our Supported Living Services on a 37-hour position working to a rolling rota. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and behaviours that may challenge.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing person-centred care and support to individuals in their daily lives
- Promoting independence, choice, and dignity at all times
- Supporting individuals to access community resources and activities
- Working collaboratively within a team to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Following Positive Behavioural Support approaches to achieve meaningful outcomes
- A compassionate, respectful, and professional approach to care
- Strong commitment to Sunderland Care and Support’s core values
- Flexibility to work a designated rota, including days, evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays
- A Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential for this role
- Experience is welcome but not essential – attitude and values are most important
- Accredited training such as Safe Handling of Medication, Moving & Assisting, and First Aid is advantageous
