Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am β 2:00pm
Contract: 3-month initial contract with the possibility of extension
Do you want to make a real difference every day? Weβre looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team, providing care and meaningful engagement to vulnerable adults of all ages with learning disabilities.
What Youβll Do:
- Support service users in a safe, person-centred environment, promoting independence and dignity
- Assist with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and social activities
- Deliver engaging, creative sessions that encourage life and social skills
- Build strong, professional relationships with individuals, families, and the wider care team
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive environment at our day service hub and in the local community
- A kind and empathetic nature, with strong communication skills
- Experience in a care or support role (paid, voluntary or personal)
- A genuine passion for supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities
- Flexibility and reliability to work consistent daytime hours, Monday to Friday
- Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification
- Experience with behaviours of concern or complex needs
- A supportive and friendly team environment
- Ongoing training and supervision
- Valuable hands-on experience in adult social care
- Opportunity to extend the contract based on performance and service needs
