Phoenix Bespoke Homes is seeking a Team Leader to join our dedicated team in Leyland, helping shape and lead our high-quality residential care homes for young people aged 11–18.

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every child receives the support they need to feel safe, valued, and empowered.
? What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
- Leading shifts and providing direct supervision, guidance, and coaching to support workers
- Creating and maintaining a homely, safe and caring environment that meets the physical and emotional needs of young people
- Contributing to the development and review of care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans
- Acting as a consistent role model, promoting positive relationships and supporting young people to develop life skills and achieve positive outcomes
- Deputising for management when required and ensuring OFSTED standards are upheld
? Experienced working with children or young people in a residential setting
? Confident managing challenging behaviour and supporting teams under pressure
? Skilled in clear communication, report writing, and safeguarding procedures
? Committed to inclusion, diversity, and person-centred care
? Flexible and reliable, able to work shifts including sleep-ins and occasional lone working
? Holding (or working towards) a Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent)
A full UK driving licence and willingness to work across multiple homes is essential.
? Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous supervisory experience
- Training or qualifications in team leadership or management
- Understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and group dynamics
