Team Leader –  (Care Leavers, 16–25)
? Based in Kirkham, covering the Preston area
? £31,000 per annum | 37.5 hours per week
? Mainly 9–5, Monday to Friday (1 day remote working)

We are working in partnership with a fantastic supported accommodation provider who are looking to appoint a Team Leader to support their services for young people aged 16–25 who are leaving care.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a similar role who is passionate about guiding young people toward independence and a better future.

? What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Lead and support a team providing high-quality support to 6–7 young people in the Preston area.

  • Act as a role model and line manager to staff, ensuring service standards are maintained.

  • Develop tailored support plans and ensure outcomes are being met in line with each young person’s pathway to independence.

  • Monitor risk, wellbeing, and compliance with safeguarding procedures.

  • Cover the on-call rota: 1 weeknight per week (£25 per night) and every 5–6 weekends (£75 per night).

  • Work flexibly to cover occasional shifts when required.

? About You:
  • Ideally, 2 years’ experience in a Team Leader or Manager role within social care.

  • Level 5 Health & Social Care (Leadership & Management) qualification – desirable.

  • Background working with young people or care leavers, ideally in the supported accommodation or semi-independent sector.

  • Confident in managing a small team, working under pressure, and ensuring positive outcomes for vulnerable young people.

  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites (mainly Preston-based).
