Job Title: Temporary Accommodation Officer
Location: Leicester
Contract Type: Temporary (3-Month Contract)
Shift Pattern: Rota Planned (Including weekends, bank holidays, and waking shifts)
DBS: Enhanced DBS is essential

Main Responsibilities:
As a Temporary Accommodation Officer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the operational provision of safe, cost-effective, and client-centered temporary accommodation within the framework of the Homelessness Strategy. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking the admission, interviewing, and induction of service users upon arrival.
  • Maintaining routine and confidential records to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Conducting twice-daily welfare checks on service users to ensure their well-being and address any immediate concerns.


Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar housing or accommodation support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work flexibly on a rota basis, including weekends, bank holidays, and waking shifts.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A commitment to providing client-centered support within the framework of the Homelessness Strategy.
