Valuer

Job Description

Our client, a local authority based in Derby are looking for a Valuer to join their team. This is on a temporary ongoing contract basis.

The purpose of the role is to:

  • Carry out valuations of land and property assets.
  • To provide professional and technical advice on real estate issues to senior managers and client departments.
  • Working closely with Valuers and the Asset Valuation Technicians in the Estates & Valuation Section on a day to day basis.
  • Collaborate effectively with professional staff and officers in other sections of the authority to achieve successful completion of joint projects.
  • Regular liaison with members, officers within Corporate Property, internal client departments, tenants, the general public, outside agencies and contractors.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following competencies/attributes;

A degree/HND or equivalent would be ideal but not essential.

Previous experience of Valuations, candidates will need to have RICS membership.
