Are you a dedicated and experienced Social Worker specializing in adult social care? Our client is seeking a qualified Social Worker to join their dynamic team on a short-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to make a positive impact within the mental health sector, working flexibly across office, home, and community settings.
Position: Social Worker - Standard (Adults) - Social Care Qualified
Location: Huyton, Archway Road
Contract Duration: 2 weeks
Working Hours: 36 hours per week, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with some flexibility)
Pay Rate:
- PAYE: £25.00 per hour
- Limited/Umbrella: £32.82 per hour
Candidate Responsibilities:
As a Social Worker for the Standard (Adults) team, your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing and assessing a caseload of adult service users, including those open to secondary mental health services
- Conducting home visits and undertaking community-based assessments with client consent
- Developing personalized care plans and interventions in collaboration with service users and their families
- Documenting all casework accurately and in compliance with statutory guidelines
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care delivery
- Attending team meetings and supervision sessions, with occasional office-based work at Huyton Municipal, Archway Road
- Receiving approval from your manager for community visits, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker (Social Worker status with relevant registration)
- Proven experience working within adult social care, particularly in mental health teams or transition teams
- Strong assessment, risk management, and communication skills
- Experience with Child Social Care (CSC) is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to perform a mix of office-based, home visits, and community work
