Are you an experienced Our client Team Manager looking for an exciting contract opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic candidate to lead and support a team within the UASC (Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children) service at our client. This contract offers an excellent chance to make an impact while working with a reputable staffing agency that collaborates with thousands of clients nationwide.


About the Role:

As a Team Manager your primary responsibility will be to oversee a team of Personal Advisors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support to UASC clients. You will also support social workers on duty, coordinating efforts to provide safe and effective care. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a positive team environment and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.


Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Personal Advisors within the UASC service.
  • Support social workers on duty, offering guidance and assistance.
  • Ensure all team activities comply with statutory and organisational standards.
  • Oversee daily operations, delegating tasks effectively to meet service goals.
  • Provide supervision and support to team members, fostering professional development.
  • Maintain accurate case records and ensure timely, quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other professional teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Identify and address any issues within the team to maintain high standards of service.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the service.

Candidate Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in social care management, specifically within UASC services
  • Social Work qualification or equivalent
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and relevant legislation

Hourly rate - £32.44 PAYE / £41.42 UMB
