About the Role: 2 x Floor Layers

As a 2 x Floor Layers, your primary responsibility will be to supply skilled labour on-site at HMP Belmarsh. You will be tasked with performing flooring installation and preparation work, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. This role requires reliable and experienced Floor Layers who are comfortable working in a secure environment and adhering to site protocols.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Installing, repairing, and finishing various types of flooring materials
• Preparing sub-floors and surfaces for flooring installation
• Following technical specifications and safety regulations
• Working effectively within a team environment
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area
• Ensuring all work meets the high standards required for a secure facility

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Floor Layer
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable with a flexible attitude
• Ability to work efficiently over a 2-week contract
• Immediate availability to start the role
