Social Worker – All Age Disability Team
Location: Worcester
Contract: 3 Months (Ongoing)
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm)

Rates:

• £32.67 per hour (Umbrella)
• £28.77 per hour (PAYE inclusive)
• £25.67 per hour (PAYE exclusive)

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Worcester for an experienced Social Worker to join their All Age Disability Team.

Job Role You will be working within a supportive team delivering high-quality social work services to individuals across all age groups with disabilities. The role will include:

• Managing a caseload of service users with learning disabilities
• Supporting individuals through key life stages, including transitions from children’s to adult services
• Undertaking assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with statutory responsibilities
• Working collaboratively with families, carers, and multi-agency partners
• Safeguarding vulnerable individuals and promoting independence and wellbeing

Key Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration
• Proven experience working with learning disabilities
• Strong understanding of transitions within all-age disability services
• Experience within a local authority setting is highly desirable
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently
