Job Title: Advanced Practitioner (Social Care) - Social Care Qualified

Position Type: Contract (2 weeks)

Candidate Responsibilities

As an Advanced Practitioner (Social Care), your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising a team of Outreach Family Support Workers to ensure delivery of high-quality outreach and home-based Early Help support to children and families.
  • Using a whole family approach to promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
  • Providing reflective case supervision to outreach family support workers, fostering professional development and effective case management.
  • Promoting child-centred, inclusive, and strength-based practices within your team.
  • Working proactively with multi-agency partners to ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
  • Taking a lead role in developing and implementing intervention plans that meet individual family needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory and organizational policies and procedures.

Candidate Skills & Qualifications

  • Social Worker qualification with relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in family support and outreach services.
  • Strong leadership and supervision skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and partnership working abilities.
  • Knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and Early Help frameworks.
