Are you a dedicated and experienced Children's Duty & Assessment Social Worker looking for an exciting contract role in St. Our client? Service Care Solutions is seeking a qualified Children's Duty & Assessment Social Worker to join a reputable Children's Services team. Children's Duty & Assessment Social Worker – Key Responsibilities

As a Children's Duty & Assessment Social Worker, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. Your main duties will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to determine needs and risks
  • Managing child protection enquiries and referrals with professionalism and sensitivity
  • Undertaking statutory visits to children and their families in accordance with legal requirements
  • Collaborating closely with partner agencies to safeguard children and coordinate support plans
  • Documenting case information accurately and maintaining up-to-date records
  • Participating in team meetings, training, and case reviews to continually improve service delivery

Candidate Requirements

The ideal Children's Duty & Assessment Social Worker will possess the following:

  • Qualified Social Worker status with current Social Work England registration
  • Proven experience working within Children’s Duty & Assessment or Front Door services
  • Strong skills in child safeguarding, risk assessment, and statutory procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, statutory environment
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Full UK driving license (preferred but not mandatory)
