We are currently seeking a qualified Fostering Social Worker to join a trusted team based at Sir Henry Mitchell House in Bradford. This is a permanent position offering an excellent salary and benefits package.

Job Title: Fostering Social Worker (Permanent)

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary: £38,220 - £46,142 per annum + £3,000 Retention Payment
Employment Type: Permanent
Contract Length: 2 weeks (initial review)
Working Pattern: 3 days per week in the office, with flexibility

Candidate Responsibilities: Fostering Social Worker

As a Fostering Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a case load of fostering families and children
• Conducting assessments and reviews of foster carers
• Developing care plans in collaboration with children and families
• Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster carers
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and safeguarding standards
• Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and external agencies
• Maintaining accurate and timely case documentation
• Participating in team meetings and professional development activities

Candidate Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Social Work (e.g., Degree in Social Work)
• Registered with Social Work England or equivalent professional body
• Proven experience in fostering or children’s services
• Strong assessment, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting well-being
