Candidate Responsibilities for the Mechanical Supervisor Role:

• Oversee all mechanical activities on site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise mechanical labour teams and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor progress of work, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and uphold health and safety regulations on site.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and other contractors to facilitate smooth communication and project flow.
• Identify and resolve any technical issues or delays promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents or safety concerns.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation, standards, and company policies.

Skills and Qualifications for the Mechanical Supervisor Role:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within construction or engineering projects.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relating to mechanical works.
• Relevant certifications such as CSCS card, First Aid, and Health & Safety qualifications are advantageous.
