Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join a dedicated and supportive team within a specialist education setting in Hillingdon.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a secondary school environment supporting pupils aged 11–19 with Autism, SEMH needs and developmental trauma, delivering high-quality, person-centred Occupational Therapy interventions.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a secondary school environment supporting pupils aged 11–19 with Autism, SEMH needs and developmental trauma, delivering high-quality, person-centred Occupational Therapy interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver a specialist Occupational Therapy caseload
- Provide bespoke assessments and interventions tailored to individual pupil needs
- Work collaboratively with education staff and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Support pupils with neurodivergence, developmental trauma and SEMH needs
- Contribute to staff training, consultation, and whole-school initiatives
- Work within the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working framework
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards
Essential Criteria:
- BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered and member of RCOT
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a school or SEN setting
- Strong experience working with autistic children/young people
- Experience working with learning disabilities, SEMH or neurodivergence
- Strong understanding of OT theory and clinical application
- Experience of multidisciplinary working
- Excellent communication, analytical and clinical reasoning skills
- Understanding of behaviour as communication
- Knowledge of sensory needs, motor skills, and developmental needs
- Up-to-date knowledge of trauma-informed practice and neurodiversity approaches
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
- Commitment to CPD and professional development
- 3 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Postgraduate training in Sensory Integration and/or developmental trauma
- A supportive clinical supervision structure
