Occupational Therapist – Wigan (Local Authority)
£35 per hour Umbrella / £27.48 PAYE
Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Service Care Solutions are currently looking for an Occupational Therapist to join a Local Authority in Wigan.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within Early Intervention Integrated Services, which includes Reablement, Equipment & Adaptations, and Assistive Technology.

Role Overview As an Occupational Therapist, you will support service users who are experiencing difficulties with daily living activities and reduced independence. Your role will be key in enabling individuals to remain as independent as possible within their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out functional assessments for adults and children
• Recommend and arrange provision of equipment and adaptations
• Support individuals through reablement and early intervention approaches
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to promote independence and wellbeing

Requirements

• Proven experience in assessment and provision of equipment and adaptations
• Experience working with both adults and/or children
• Strong understanding of promoting independence and functional ability

Additional Information

• Full-time hours preferred, however part-time will be considered
• Immediate start available
