Occupational Therapist – Temporary Contract (2 Weeks)

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join Enfield Council on a short-term 2-week contract. This is a fantastic chance to apply your skills in a dynamic environment, supporting individuals in regaining independence through short-term reablement interventions.

Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Location: Enfield
Employment Type: Contract (2 weeks)
Hourly Rate: £35.38 (Umbrella) / £27.77 (PAYE)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (35 hours per week)

Candidate Responsibilities

As a Occupational Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed functional assessments to support reablement goals
• Developing and implementing personalised care and rehabilitation plans
• Recommending equipment and minor adaptations to aid independence
• Collaborating with reablement teams, care staff, and multidisciplinary professionals
• Supporting timely hospital discharges and working to prevent readmissions
• Monitoring client progress and adjusting interventions accordingly
• Providing advice and guidance to service users, families, and carers

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist qualification
• Previous experience within reablement, community, or adult social care settings
• Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
