Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Contract Length: 2 weeks

Location: Royal Greenwich

Employment Type: Contract

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week

Pay Rate: Up to £40 per hour (Umbrella) / £31.36 per hour (PAYE)

Candidate Responsibilities for the Occupational Therapist Role

As an Occupational Therapist with Royal Greenwich Council, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of service users’ needs
• Recommending and arranging appropriate equipment and home adaptations
• Supporting hospital discharges and preventing unnecessary admissions
• Developing tailored care plans to promote independence and well-being
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health and social care professionals
• Providing advice, guidance, and support to service users, families, and carers
• Monitoring and reviewing interventions to ensure effective outcomes

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this Occupational Therapist role, you will need:

• Qualified Occupational Therapist HCPC registered
• Experience working with adult and older people services
• Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
