Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join a Local Authority Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Team based in Huddersfield.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to work within a specialist service supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs, Neurodiversity, and Emotional Dysregulation.
Rate of Pay: £35.00 - £40.00 per hour Umbrella (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Location: Huddersfield
Working Pattern: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake specialist Occupational Therapy assessments for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
- Develop and implement person-centred intervention plans to promote independence and wellbeing.
- Support individuals with neurodiversity and emotional dysregulation, identifying strategies to improve daily functioning.
- Complete risk assessments and provide recommendations for equipment, adaptations, and environmental modifications where required.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, carers, families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Experience working within Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, or Community Adult Services.
- Knowledge of neurodiversity and trauma-informed approaches would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
