Occupational Therapist - Temporary Contract in Oxford

Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the Assessment, Safeguarding & Disability Team in Oxford for a 2-week contract, with potential for extension. Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments for adults.
• Complete moving and handling assessments to promote safety and independence.
• Recommend appropriate specialist equipment and home adaptations tailored to client needs.
• Support adults with disabilities, long-term conditions, and complex care needs to optimise their quality of life.
• Contribute to safeguarding enquiries and conduct thorough risk assessments.
• Develop, implement, and review person-centred support plans.
• Collaborate closely with service users, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure all activities comply with relevant legislation and policies.

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC Registration.
• Previous experience in Adult Social Care or a Local Authority setting.
• Solid knowledge of safeguarding procedures and disability services.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
