Hourly Rate: £15.00 – £17.00 per hour (dependent on experience

About the Role

• Provide pastoral support to students, promoting positive behaviour, wellbeing, and engagement
• Work closely with teaching staff and senior leadership to support student progress
• Manage and respond to behavioural issues in line with school policies
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and external agencies
• Support safeguarding procedures and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and student welfare, implementing interventions where required

Person Specification

• Previous experience in a pastoral, behaviour, or support role within an educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
