About the Role
- Provide pastoral support to students, promoting positive behaviour, wellbeing, and engagement
- Work closely with teaching staff and senior leadership to support student progress
- Manage and respond to behavioural issues in line with school policies
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and external agencies
- Support safeguarding procedures and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and student welfare, implementing interventions where required
- A supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Strong leadership team committed to staff development
- Focused on improving outcomes and student wellbeing

Person Specification
- Previous experience in a pastoral, behaviour, or support role within an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively
- Calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
