We are recruiting permanent Social Workers to join the Corporate Parenting / Children in Care Service - where relationship-based practice, stability and achieving the best possible outcomes for children are at the heart of everything achieved.
An Exciting Time to Join Bradford
Bradford Children and Families Trust has recently restructured its Children in Care service to provide greater continuity and improved outcomes for children and young people.
The redesigned service now spans children and young people aged 0–18, creating three new teams and bringing the total number of Children in Care teams to 10 dedicated teams. This structure enables stronger relationships, improved consistency and more effective support throughout a child's journey in care.
As part of ongoing commitment to excellence, they are investing in the workforce and creating an environment where social workers can thrive professionally while making a real difference to children's lives.
As a Social Worker within the Corporate Parenting / Children in Care Service, you will support children and young people who are looked after by the Trust, ensuring their voices remain central to all planning and decision-making.

- Undertake statutory visits, assessments and reviews
- Develop and implement care plans that promote safety, stability and positive outcomes
- Work collaboratively with carers, families, schools, health professionals and partner agencies
- Champion children's educational achievement, health and emotional wellbeing
- Support children and young people to understand their experiences and prepare for adulthood
- Drive permanence planning and ensure timely decision-making to achieve long-term stability for children

What We're Looking For
We are seeking Social Workers who:

- Have experience working within statutory children's social care services
- Demonstrate strong assessment, planning and analytical skills

- Can build effective relationships with children, families, carers and partner agencies
