📍 Location: Nutgrove Villa, Westmorland Road, Huyton, Knowsley, L36 6GA (Hybrid Working)
💰 Salary: £42,839 per annum
📅 Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (36 hours per week)
🏠 Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days office based, 2 days remote

Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of Knowsley Council for an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join their Children Looked After Team on a permanent basis.

About the Role
As an Experienced Social Worker within the Children Looked After Team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people in care, ensuring they receive high-quality, child-centred interventions that promote stability, safety, and positive outcomes.
You'll be joining a friendly, supportive team with manageable caseloads, regular reflective supervision, and a leadership team that is visible, approachable, and committed to helping staff thrive.

Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
  • A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Experience working within Children's Social Care, ideally within a Children Looked After or similar statutory team
  • Strong assessment, safeguarding, and care planning skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for children and families
