Location: South Yorkshire
Salary: £54,080 basic salary | OTE up to £64,280

Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of an established children's residential care provider for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the opening of a brand-new 4-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) children's home.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager, or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to take the next step, to build and shape a new service from the ground up. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of the home's development, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes for young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the registration and opening of the new children's home.
• Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing staff team.
• Deliver outstanding care and support for children and young people.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
• Manage budgets, occupancy, staffing, and overall service performance.
• Promote a strong safeguarding culture and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Registered Manager experience, or an experienced Deputy Manager ready for progression.
• Previous experience within children's residential care.
• Experience opening and registering a new children's home is desirable.
• Minimum of 2–3 years' leadership experience in a children's residential setting.
• Proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding inspection outcomes.
• Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
• Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (completed or working towards).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and children's residential regulations.

Benefits

• Basic salary of £54,080 per annum.
• Realistic earning potential of up to £64,280.
• Monthly occupancy bonus of £600.
• £3,000 bonus for achieving an Outstanding inspection rating.
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
• On-call payments:
  
  • £25 per weekday.
  • £35 per weekend day.
