School Caretaker - Part-Time Contract (2 Weeks)

We are currently seeking a School Caretaker for a part-time contract lasting two weeks, to help ensure the school remains a safe, clean, and welcoming place for pupils, staff, and visitors. About the Role: School Caretaker

As a School Caretaker, your responsibilities will primarily involve cleaning and minor site maintenance duties. The role requires working mornings and afternoons, totaling 25 hours per week, with flexible hours to fit within the school schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 8:00am and 4:00pm – 7:00pm

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and toilet facilities
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising all areas
• Emptying bins and replenishing cleaning supplies
• Opening the school each morning and locking up each evening
• Conducting basic site checks and reporting maintenance issues
• Undertaking minor maintenance and repair tasks where appropriate
• Ensuring the school remains clean, safe, and secure at all times

The School Caretaker must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and trustworthiness. Previous cleaning experience is essential, while caretaking experience is desirable. The ability to work independently, using initiative, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety are crucial to success in this role.
