We are currently recruiting for two experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join a mainstream school in Burnley, working within a dedicated specialist provision.
The successful candidates will have previous experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and will be confident providing appropriate academic, social and emotional support within a specialist setting.
The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider specialist team to support pupils in accessing their education and developing their confidence, independence and communication skills.

- Are patient, calm, consistent and nurturing in their approach
- Can build positive relationships with pupils while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Are reliable, adaptable and committed to supporting pupil development
