Senior Social Worker – Foster Wales Swansea
Location: Swansea (Guildhall)
Contract: Up to 6 Months
Pay Rate: £33.00 per hour (PAYE) | £41.58 per hour (Umbrella)
Working Pattern: Hybrid – Office based Tuesday to Thursday, working from home Monday and Friday
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Foster Wales Swansea team on an initial 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Quality Assurance work across the fostering service.
- Complete Form F Supervisions and Annual Foster Carer Reviews.
- Manage an agreed caseload and undertake fostering assessments.
- Support the delivery of high-quality fostering services in line with legislation, fostering regulations, and best practice.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and maintain accurate case records.
- Attend planning meetings, reviews, and case conferences.
- Provide advice, consultation, and supervision to colleagues where appropriate.
- Deputise for the Team Leader when required.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for children and families.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Current registration with Social Care Wales.
- A recognised Social Work qualification.
- Experience within fostering services, including Quality Assurance, Form F assessments, and Annual Reviews.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Excellent assessment, report writing, and communication skills.
