Key Responsibilities for the Social Worker (Adults)

As a Social Worker (Adults), your primary focus will be to assess and support adults with social care needs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of adults' social care needs

• Liaising with healthcare professionals and local authorities to ensure effective service delivery

Candidate Responsibilities and Requirements

To succeed as a Social Worker (Adults), you should possess:

• Relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work)
• Current registration with Social Work England or relevant governing body
• Experience working with adult social care cases (preferably in a community setting)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and legislation
