We are seeking motivated Social Workers (Bcft Dfe) to join our Leaving Care service in Bradford. Position Overview:

As a Social Worker (Bcft Dfe) within our Leaving Care team, you will work closely with children in care and their carers to develop and progress care plans. You will lead multi-agency partnerships, coordinate interventions, and facilitate meetings to ensure children’s holistic needs are met and their permanence plans are achieved. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to impact lives positively, guiding young people towards independence while ensuring they feel loved, valued, and supported.

Candidate Responsibilities for the Social Worker (Bcft Dfe):

  • Develop and review care plans tailored to each child's needs
  • Work collaboratively with children, carers, and multi-agency teams
  • Lead and coordinate multi-agency meetings and interventions
  • Support young people in their transition to adulthood
  • Ensure children’s needs are holistically met and their permanence plans are progressing
  • Maintain detailed case records and adhere to statutory guidelines
  • Advocate for young people to ensure their voices are heard
  • Promote positive outcomes and independence opportunities for care leavers

What We Offer for the Social Worker (Bcft Dfe):

  • Salary range of £38,220 - £46,142 per annum plus a £3,000 Retention Payment
  • Contract length: Temporary/Contract
