Pay Rate: £27.98 per hour PAYE / £36.79 per hour Limited/Umbrella

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for multiple experienced Adult Social Workers to join Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council.

We are looking to speak with experienced Social Workers who can demonstrate strong adult social care experience and are confident working in fast-paced environments.

There are six opportunities available, with the following areas of experience particularly sought:

Current Opportunities
💰 Savings Project – 2 positions

• Experience working within fast-paced adult social care environments
• Experience contributing to savings, efficiencies or transformation projects
• Ability to manage a busy workload and work towards clear financial and service objectives
• Strong assessment, review and care planning skills

⚖️ Learning Disabilities / MCA & Court Work – 2 positions

• Experience working with adults with learning disabilities
• Strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA)
• Experience of court work and related legal processes
• Ability to undertake complex assessments and make defensible, evidence-based decisions

👥 Older People / Reviews & Reassessments – 2 positions

• Experience working with older people within adult social care
• Strong experience completing reviews and reassessments
• Ability to identify changing needs and ensure appropriate care and support is in place
• Experience working collaboratively with individuals, families and wider professionals

About You
The successful candidates will be experienced, qualified Social Workers with a strong background in adult social care.

You should have:

• A recognised Social Work qualification
• Current Social Work England registration
• Significant experience within Adult Social Care
• Strong assessment, review and care planning skills
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
• The ability to manage a varied and potentially complex caseload
• Confidence working independently while contributing effectively within a wider team
