Are you an experienced Social Care professional with strong leadership skills? We are currently seeking a dedicated Team Manager - Social Care Qualified to join our team on a 2-week contract basis. About the Role:
As a Team Manager - Social Care Qualified, your primary responsibility will be to lead and support a team of social care workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services. Your expertise in social care combined with your leadership skills will be crucial in maintaining compliance, fostering a positive team environment, and delivering excellent outcomes for service users. This contract offers an exciting chance to make a meaningful difference within a dynamic social care setting.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of social care staff to ensure quality service delivery
- Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing support and training
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
- Liaise with clients, families, and external agencies to coordinate care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and case records
- Promote a positive, supportive environment for both staff and service users
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker (or equivalent social care qualification)
- Proven experience in social care management, ideally as a Team Manager
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
- Valid DBS check and right to work in the UK
